Rose Bowl Tips

  • Wear gloves and a hat as temperatures at the beginning of the 2 ½ hour parade can be in the low 40s.
  • Bring coffee or hot chocolate with you from the hotel as there are limited venues open for refreshments.
  • The parade starts at 8:00am, but make sure you are in Pasadena by 6:15am or you won’t be able to find parking.
  • The Rose Bowl football game starts at 1:30pm.
  • If you are at the beginning of the parade route, you will have time to attend a pre-game party at the stadium.
  • The Rose Bowl Stadium only permits a clear, plastic bag to carry items into the game.
  • Temperatures drop significantly after the sun sets behind the mountains, so keep your jacket with you.
